• Heartstrings Animal Advocates: Same day adoptions & pre-approval suggested

Here are some suggestions for adopting the day of the event if you have not already gotten pre-approved from the rescue/shelter of your choice:

• Bring a recommendation letter from your vet
• Bring an approval letter from your landlord (if applicable)
• Bring any approval email/letter from previous adoptions you’ve done with other organizations
• Any personal reference letters from friends or family

Please do not bring your animals to the event for everyone’s safety. If you require help doing a dog-to-dog introduction the rescue/shelter that you are adopting from will be able to assist you with that directly.
